Navigation           (Back to top)

From the main page, you can navigate to specific Product pages via the links at the top of the page (highlighted in red):-

Clicking on any of the individual letters ‘A’ to ‘Z’, ‘Numerically Named Products’, or ‘Show All’ will take you to a page with the associated products (in the example, we have clicked on the letter ‘F’ to return all Products beginning with ‘F’):-

Notice on some pages, numbers will appear below the tabs and just above the Product Column headings to signify there are further pages of results:-

You will always be taken initially to page 1, which you’ll notice here is greyed out. As you can see in the example, there are 4 further pages of results for this letter (5 in total). Click on any of the numbers to be taken to the relevant page.

By default, the ‘Current Authorised Products’ will display (the tab will be shaded light blue):-

Click on another tab to display the relevant Products, e.g. ‘Expired Products’:-

Note, the page will display the Expired Products beginning with the letter previously specified, in this case products beginning with ‘F’.

You can also select from several options from the menu bar at the top right of the screen. These are ‘Product Search’, ‘FAQs’, and ‘User Guide’:-

Further documents            (Back to top)

When you have a product displayed, a right-pointing arrow will display to the left of the product name:-

Click this arrow and it will change to a downward-pointing arrow, and display links to further documents relating to the product:-

Click any of these document links and the respective document will load.

N.B. The type of documents available will vary depending on which tab you are in. In the example above, we are in the ‘Current Authorised Products’ tab, so can view the SPC, the Public Assessment Report, or the Post Authorisation Assessment.  Also, some products will have only some or no additional documents, depending on the product type.

Product Search            (Back to top)

Clicking ‘Product Search’ will take you to the Search screen:-

The Product Search page consists of free text-entry fields (where you can type what you would like to search for), drop-down lists (where you can select from existing data), and calendar fields (allowing you to select a date).

The free text entry fields look like this:

image022.gif

These fields allow you to enter any data you like, and after you have entered 3 letters a drop-down list should appear with possible suggestions from the database (if found):

To select an item, hover over the item you require to highlight it in blue, and click on it.

The drop-down lists are marked by a little down arrow on the right-hand side:-

Clicking on the down arrow will expand the list, allowing you to search for specific product types, e.g. if you want to view all products for use on Cattle, you would click the down arrow to expand the selection list, hover over ‘Cattle’ so it is highlighted in blue, and click on it:

Calendar fields are depicted by a little calendar icon on the right-hand side:-

Clicking the calendar field icon will bring up a mini calendar to select a date to search for:-

Hover over a date in the calendar and its background should turn pale blue:-

After a brief moment, a message will pop up informing you of the date you are currently hovering over:-

If you are happy with the date highlighted, click to add it.

Utilising several of the search fields, you can create a highly specific search to narrow your results:-

When you are happy with your selected fields, please click the ‘Run Search’ button:-

After a moment, the results of your search will be displayed on the page.

Predefined searches are basically drop-down lists where you can select a pre-made search:-
